Cinco de Mayo Celebration

We are going to celebrate Cinco de Mayo this Friday. We will be making pinatas in class. I need your help. If you could send in a bag of candy to put in our pinatas (something small like Tootsie Rolls or Starburst, etc.) it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

April 29-May 3

This week is going to be a crazy week. Grades kindergarten through 2nd are taking the SAT 10. Because of testing, we will be moving to the cafeteria from 7:45 to approximately 9:30 every morning until Thursday to allow additional space for the grades testing. So, with that being said, things may not go exactly as planned. Please bear with me.

I was so proud of my students last week! They were focused and determined during the TCAP. I believe every student tried their best and hopefully that will reflect in their test results.

I hope this will be a tool that will really help parents. I will post news and upcoming important dates on the home page. I will post what we are working on in the classroom during the day on the classroom page. And, of course, I will post the nightly homework on the homework page. My desire is that this will be another resource for parents to utilize in order to keep up with what is expected of their child and what they are currently learning in order to assist their child in their learning experience. 

Please make sure to return the permission form if you are interested in your child attending the Comprehension Campout this Friday night.
